Through fate, coincidence and kindness, Laney and I met at Soul Brew Bellmore (Allan’s old stomping grounds) for some coffee, lunch and amazing talk. She didn’t know Allan but was so touched by his book on the mantle. We struck up a friendship over coffee and mustard (inside joke) and most importantly spreading smiles and joy.
