Huntington Jewish Center’s Students
AND Parents Doodled The Day Away
Categories: Inspired School Districts
Today I spent the morning at the Huntington Jewish Center, introducing
the third, fourth and fifth graders and their parents to inspirational doodles.
They learned about the benefits of doodling, what inspirational doodling is
and how they could connect it to their Jewish Studies and the upcoming holiday of Purim.
At the end of these photos you’ll see how Allan’s doodles were connected to my lesson.
I continue to spread what Allan hoped for—what we all hope for—
a world with peace and love, a positive mindset and a life of authentic living.
Ilene facilitated an intriguing workshop for my students in Grades 3-5 with their parents in our Religious School. Everyone was engaged from the start. Students expressed their feelings with thoughtfulness, humor and sincerity. I was impressed how many of Allan’s concepts were so applicable to the Jewish faith and holiday themes. The class offered students a non-judgmental and calming approach to self-expression to universal themes that everyone can relate to.
